Here is a brief history of the website...

Shadow Slash Teknologies or www.shadowslash.tk, started out on October 31, 2007. Originally, it was just supposed to be my personal website. ShadowSlash.tk stayed dormant for a month or two and it served as a portal to my blog. Then I decided I should make a downloads website. So ShadowSlash.tk was named "Thunder Downloads" (I wonder where I got the idea for that name). After a while, the website was ok so-so as they would say.

As the days go on, "Thunder Downloads" slowly became inconvenient because if you search it on the internet, thousands of Thunder Downloads would pop up! I then began thinking of a new "company name". When I was making one of my programs (can't remember which one it is), I was still brainstorming of a great name. My dad then came and I asked him. I suggested the "Shadow Slash Megatrends" based on what I see when I boot up my computer (American Megatrends) but my dad said that I could be sued for doing that so we thought up of a new name. My dad came up with "Shadow Slash Technologies". That sounded good but still, if you search "Shadow" "Slash" and "Technologies", a lot of result would come on search engines. It was then that I came up with the name "Shadow Slash Teknologies". I thought it would be appropriate since the website was www.shadowslash.tk where the ".tk" was supposed to represent "Teknologies".

So "Shadow Slash Teknologies" it came to be! At first, my programs were all freeware cause I believe on the original concept of the internet and that is "The internet should be free." but as the economic crisis affects our financial stability, I decided it wouldn't hurt to ask for a little payment on some of my programs since I DID put some effort and time onto it (mostly not some but my full effort).
